BIOGRAPHY
The works of Canadian artist Michelle Montague combine the influences of abstract and expressionism art. Always influenced by the environment and life experiences it was from an early age that the artist started using the artistic medium of drawing and painting to depict compelling stories of the otherworld. Having spent her formative years in Edmonton and Windsor, Michelle returned to Toronto in 1996, her place of birth. A recent graduate from Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD), she has a BFA in Fine Arts as well as an educational background in Marketing Management from Centennial College. She has exhibited in partnership with the Canadian Human Rights Commission, in addition to select galleries and public spaces in the Greater Toronto Area, including the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Michelle is currently living and working in Toronto, Canada.
